[BR] or BetweenReality is my personal portfolio. Its main focus is on my manga and anime style work, but also has some of my graphic and web design works as well.

The site is designed and maintained by me. Its basic design makes it compatible with most browsers and on average sized monitors. [BR]'s simplistic design also makes for easy navigation.

The reasoning behind the name "BetweenReality" is actually kind of difficult to explain. When I draw a character and the things around them I always try to make it seem as though you're viewing them between realities. It's sort of like that jump from your reality and theirs. For me, a drawing doesn't do what it's supposed to do unless; if it looks like that character has personality, movement, and emotions. It seems like the drawing loses something without those things. Thus, the name "BetweenReality." ~_^

I could say I started drawing when I was very young, but don't all good artists? ^_^ I actually just doodled and sometimes drew finished pictures up until around 1999. That's when I started to get serious about design, drawing, and multimedia. Currently, I'm a freelance illustrator who is just starting out (I'm hoping to receive my first commission soon). I hope to change that quickly. X3

Two fields I enjoy, and excel in, are manga and graphic design. One field led to the other and vice versa. Manga established me in graphic design. I've had the capability to design web pages and various types of media elements for computers for several years, but without a theme to focus that around the media elements lose their impact. With manga as a focal point, I furthered my knowledge of web and graphic design.

What started out as no more than a hobby, turned into a career choice. Now I use both graphic design and my drawing talent not just for personal use (making my computer a true fandom computer), but to color, create, and script my own graphics, media, and web pages for everybody to enjoy.
